Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Depending on who you took the course through last time, the length of your certification can vary. Typically CPR and First Aid is valid for 1-3 years and Standard Precautions or Bloodborne Pathogens is typically valid for 1 year.

    Our certification period is 2 years for CPR and First Aid, and 1 year for Standard Precautions.

  1. At this time, we only offer Standard Precautions online. Check our Online Courses section for more information.

  1. CPR and First Aid usually take 2-3 hours each depending on the number of students in the class.
    The classroom version of Standard Precautions usually takes less than an hour and a half.
    The online version of Standard Precautions is self paced and can usually be completed in less than an hour and a half.
